How to activate by.U SIM card?

Now you can activate by.U SIM Card via web link here without consuming your quota!

To activate your SIM Card by.U, let's follow the steps below!

1. Insert the SIM card into your gadget. If your gadget is a dual SIM card, make sure that only the by.U SIM Card is in the gadget during activation.
2. Make sure your Wifi mode has been turned off and the by.U (Telkomsel) signal bar has appeared on your gadget
3. Open the by.U app and click the ""Activate SIM Card"" button.
4. Input the NIK-NOKK data, make sure the NIK-NOKK data is correct and you're done!

 
Now, you can also activate your SIM card via SMS by typing

• REG(space)NIK#KK# send to 4444.

Then you can also activate using UMB by:

1. Prepare your NIK and KK number
2. Type *444# on your cellphone
3. Then select the "Registration" menu

 
But, if it turns out that the by.U network still doesn't appear, you don't need to panic! Here are some steps you can take so that the signal can appear:

1. Turn cellular data OFF/ON
2. Change your APN to ""by.U"", or you can check how to change APN at https://www.byu.id/id/faq-detail/apa-itu-APN
3. Then try to activate again
